Past Projects
A record of my past projects. Some are very simple — a few I'd now consider far from polished — but each of them shaped a step on my journey toward the door of AI. I'm keeping them here as a memento.
MSc Data Science · University of Bristol (2024–2025)
My MSc dissertation (supervised by Daniel D'Andrea). I integrated multi-omics datasets to construct a regulatory network and benchmarked feature-selection strategies against several learning algorithms to identify candidate molecular drivers of micronutrient deficiency in pregnancy.
A group project investigating the regulatory mechanism of lncRNA MIR100HG in cancer by integrating gene expression, DNA methylation, and transcription factor–target gene data into a reproducible multi-stage pipeline.
An interactive Tableau dashboard integrating six 2011 Census housing tables with house-price and income data. I applied PCA and UMAP for dimensionality reduction to analyse the structural evolution of housing tenure and spatial disparities in affordability.
Constructed context-based word representations to study semantic proximity between content words in English novels, comparing KMeans, Agglomerative Clustering, and DBSCAN alongside graph analysis to uncover latent semantic structures.
Enhanced a baseline Naive Bayes classifier and compared three models for sentiment classification, then applied topic modeling to climate-change discourse, analysing misclassified examples to surface model strengths and limitations.
